Representatives of MIAC participates at the CLDP South Asia Regional International Commercial Arbitration Information Exchange
ސީ.އެލް.ޑީޕީ ސައުތު އޭޝިއާ ރީޖަނަލް އިންޓަރނޭޝަނަލް ކޮމަރޝަލް އާބިޓްރޭޝަން އިންފޮމޭޝަން އެކްސްޗޭންޖުގައި އެމް.އައި.އޭ.ސީ ގެ މަންދޫބުން ބައިވެރިވެވަޑައިގެންފި
The Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) of the U.S Department of Commerce hosted the South Asia Regional International Commercial Arbitration Information Exchange Program in Katmandu, Nepal from 24 – 26 June 2024. Legal practitioners from the Maldives, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh were invited to identify barriers and challenges in the framework of arbitration.
MIAC was represented by Board Member Ma asha Luthfee, Legal Counsels Aminath Raya Ali, Mansha Abdualla Salih, Rules Committee Member Ahmed Muizzu and Arbitrator Aishath Haifa. Representatives of MIAC had the opportunity to attain useful information in furtherance of arbitration.

ޔޫ.އެސް ޑިޕަރޓްމަންޓް އޮފް ކޮމަރސް ގެ ދަ ކޮމަރޝަލް ލޯ ޑިވަލޮޕްމަންޓް ޕްރޮގްރާމް (ސީ.އެލް.ޑީ.ޕީ) ގެ ފަރާތުން ނޭޕާލް ގެ ކަތަމަންޑޫގައި 2024 ވަނަ އަހަރުގެ ޖޫން މަހުގެ 26 – 24 އަށް ސައުތު އޭޝިއާ ރީޖަނަލް އިންޓަރނޭޝަނަލް ކޮމަރޝަލް އާބިޓްރޭޝަން އިންފޮމޭޝަން އެކްސްޗޭންޖް ޕްރޮގްރާމް ބާއްވާފައިވެއެވެ. މި ޕްރޮގްރާމުގައި އާބިޓްރޭޝަންގެ މައްސަލަތައް ކުރިއަށް ގެންދިއުމައް ހުރި ހުރަސްތައް އަދި ގޮންޖެހުންތަކަށް މަޝްވަރާކުރުމަށް ދިވެހިރާއްޖެ، އިންޑިޔާ، ޕާކިސްތާން، ނޭޕާލް، ސްރީ ލަންކާ އަދި ބަންގްލަދޭޝް އިން ޤާނޫނީ ފަންނުގެ ބޭފުޅުންނަށް ދައުވަތު އެރުވިފައިވެއެވެ. އެމް.އައި.އޭ.ސީ ގެ ފަރާތުން މި ޕްރޮގްރާމުގައި ބޯޑް މެންބަރު މައާޝާ ލުތުފީ، ލީގަލް ކައުންސެލް އާމިނަތު ރާޔާ ޢަލީ އަދި މަންޝާ ޢަބްދުﷲ ސާލިހް، ރޫލްސް ކޮމިޓީ މެންބަރު އަޙްމަދު މުޢިއްޒު އަދި އާބިޓްރޭޓަރ އައިޝަތު ހައިފާ ބައިވެރިވެފައިވެއެވެ. މި ޕްރޮގްރާމުން އެމް.އައި.އޭ.ސީ ގެ މަންދޫބުންނަށް އާބިޓްރޭޝަން ކުރިއެރުވުމަށް މުޙިއްމު މަޢުލޫމާތު ލިބިފައިވެއެވެ. ސީ.އެލް.ޑީ.ޕީ ގެ ފަރާތުން ދިން ފުރުސަތަށް އެމް.އައި.އޭ.ސީ ގެ ފަރާތުން މަރުހަބާ ކިޔައި، ކުރި މަގުގައި އިތުރު މަސައްކަތްތަކެއް އެކުގައި ކުރެވޭނެ ކަމަށް އުންމީދުކުރަމެވެ.
