Call for Applications: Award Writing Workshop for Arbitrators
އެވޯޑް ރައިޓިންގ ވޯކްޝޮޕް
The Maldives International Arbitration Centre (MIAC) is conducting a workshop on Arbitral Award Writing. The 2-day workshop will focus on teaching practitioners and aspiring arbitrators the skills required to draft a comprehensive arbitral award. In addition to the form and content of an award the workshop will cover drafting of procedural decisions and orders.
The workshop will be conducted by Ms. Aarta Alkarimi an international arbitration practitioner based in UAE. She is a Partner at Chrysalis International Legal Advisors.
Date: 18 and 19 October 2022
Time: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
Venue: Crossroads Maldives

Eligibility |
Completed a membership course of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators or equivalent program OR Acted as counsel or co-counsel in at least one hearing in an international arbitration.
