MIAC is the first and only arbitral institution in the Maldives, founded in 2019 and officially launched in 2021. Established with the aim of becoming a regional hub for resolving commercial disputes through arbitration, MIAC offers a cost-effective and efficient platform for resolving disputes both domestically and internationally. MIAC has hosted several sessions to raise awareness and educate stakeholders on various aspects of arbitration.
