The China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) hosted the SCO & China-Central Asia Arbitration Forum 2025 on 25th April 2025 in Urumqi, Xinjiang, China. The theme for this year was "Gathering Forces for Arbitration Cooperation & Embarking on a New Journey under the Rule of Law”. Vice Chairman Mohamed Aseel Hassan represented MIAC at the Forum. 

The Forum was held to further enhance mutual trust and cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and among the Central Asian countries. Also, there was a focus to promote international commercial dispute resolution services and facilitate regional economic cooperation.
