We are proud to mark the successful conclusion of the Civil/Commercial Mediation Course, conducted for the first time in Maldives by ADR ODR International in collaboration with the Bar Council Maldives(BCM), Maldives International Arbitration Centre (MIAC), and Upgrade Skills Training Centre.

This high-quality, internationally accredited program brought together legal professionals and aspiring mediators to explore the essential frameworks of effective dispute resolution. Designed with a strong practical emphasis, the course featured realistic role plays and interactive simulations that not only enhanced participant engagement but also prepared them for real-world mediation scenarios.

Participants will receive the title of Certified Mediator, with international accreditation from the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI) (Level 1 Mediator at SIMI), the Civil Mediation Council (CMC – UK), and the International Mediation Institute (IMI).

With the increasing need for amicable, cost-effective, and time-efficient resolution mechanisms, we are hopeful that this initiative will pave the way for a stronger culture of mediation in Maldives' legal and commercial sectors.
