Strategic Foundations – Pre-Dispute and Arbitration Readiness
ސްޓްރެޓެޖިކް ފައުންޑޭޝަންސް – ޕްރީ-ޑިސްޕިއުޓް އެންޑް އާބިޓްރޭޝަން ރެޑިނަސް
On 10 February 2026, the Maldives International Arbitration Centre (MIAC), in collaboration with MASIN, a Dubai based global business advisory and consulting firm, hosted a dynamic one-day forum in Meeruma Hotel focused on advancing arbitration readiness in the Maldives.
Bringing together legal, technical, and industry practitioners, the event created a platform for dialogue on how to better prepare for disputes before they arise and manage them more effectively when they do.
The forum featured three focused sessions examining practical strategies to position parties more effectively before a dispute emerges, mitigate risk through proactive planning and streamline arbitration proceedings through early expert involvement.
The expert speakers for the event were:

މި ފޯރަމް ވެގެންދިޔައީ ގާނޫނީ، ފަންނީ އަދި ސިނާއީ ފަރާތްތަކުގެ ބައިވެރިވުމާއި އެކު މައްސަލައެއް ދިމާވުމުގެ ކުރިން ތައްޔާރުވާނޭ ގޮތާއި މައްސަލައެއް ދިމާވުމުން އަމަލުކުރާނެ އެންމެ ރަނގަޅު އަދި އެކަށޭނެ ގޮތްތަކާއި މެދު މަޝްވަރާތައް ކުރިއަށް ގެންގޮސްފައިވެއެވެ.
މި ފޯރަމް ކުރިއަށް ގެންދެވުނީ 3 ސެޝަނަކަށް ބަހާލައިގެންނެވެ. އެއީ، މައްސަލައެއް ދިމާވުމުގެ ކުރިން މައްސަލައެއްގައި ހިމެނޭ ފަރާތްތައް އަމަލުކުރާނޭ އެންމެ ރަނގަޅު ގޮތްތަކާއި ގުޅޭ ސެޝަނަކާއި، ރޭވުންތެރިކަމާއި އެކު ހިރާސްތައް ކުޑަކުރާނޭ ގޮތުގެ ސެޝަނަކާއި އަދި ތަޖުރިބާކާރުންގެ ކުރީ ބައިވެރިވުމާއި އެކު އާބިޓްރޭޝަނެއް ކުރިއަށް ގެންދާނެ ގޮތެވެ.

ސްޕީކަރުން ހިއްސާކުރެއްވި އެފަރާތްތަކުގެ އިލްމާއި ތަޖްރިބާއަށް އަދި ބައިވެރިންގެ އަގުހުރި ހިއްސާތަކަށް ޝުކުރު އަދާކުރަމެވެ.
މީގެ އިތުރުން، މި ފޯރަމް ކާމިޔާބުކަމާއި އެކު ބޭއްވުމަށް މަސިންގެ ފަރާތުން ލިބުނު އެއްބާރުލުމަށް ޝުކުރު އަދާކުރަމެވެ. މިފަދަ އިތުރު ހަރަކާތްތައް ބޭއްވުމަށް އުންމީދު ކުރަމެވެ.
