The Maldives International Arbitration Centre conducted a one-day seminar on drafting arbitral awards for aspiring local arbitrators. The session covered form and content of an award and insights on drafting an enforceable award.

The session was facilitated by Mr. Darshendev Singh. Mr. Singh is a practicing advocate & solicitor in Malaysia and Partner at Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill. Besides regularly sitting as an arbitrator and an adjudicator, he also represents clients in international and domestic arbitration, litigation, mediation, and adjudication. He has been involved in numerous ad hoc as well as institutional arbitrations.
