Reem Ahmed Ibrahim

Reem Ahmed Ibrahim is a Legal Counsel at the Maldives International Arbitration Centre (MIAC), where she has undertaken responsibilities as Case Manager and Tribunal Secretary for domestic and international arbitrations.

Earlier in her career, Reem served as Deputy Legal Officer at the President’s Office, where she advised on legislative and regulatory issues, reviewed government contracts, and coordinated with ministries and the Attorney General’s Office on law implementation. She later worked with SHC Law & Tax LLP and CTL Strategies LLP, gaining broad experience in commercial practice, litigation, and advisory work on corporate transactions, development projects, and regulatory compliance.

Reem holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the International Islamic University Malaysia and is admitted to the Bar of the Maldives. She has extensive experience across both the public and private sectors, with a strong focus on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
